I have been neglecting this blog too much - I know how much you readers enjoy it; in fact this was the original blogs of all blogs. So I am going to establish a new practice - and you’ll see if I can keep it up.
Every Tuesday I will share music that I like - then you can see how eclectic my taste really is!
Today I will start out with one of my fave Beatles’ songs - Hey Jude.
Why do you like this song, goddess?
Hmm, that’s hard to say. I really don’t like most of the Beatles songs and totally lost touch when they went all guru-like. In addition, I’m not one of those rabid Beatles fans who knows the years, lyrics, liner notes and the like. I happen to like Hey Jude because it’s got a heavy piano track (because I play piano) and the chord progressions are easy on the ear. And the “na, na, na”? It could go on forever for all I care, I love it!
